Meet Ruth
I’m Ruth, a mum of two living next to Blythe Hill Fields in Catford. I love thinking about space and materials, and how to make the home easier, more efficient and a joy to live in.
I come from an architecture and curating background and currently work in the arts. Having previously studied at the Royal College of Art and worked at organisations such as the V&A, Whitechapel Gallery and Somerset House. Alongside this I have recently become a Trustee at RUSS (The rural Urban Synthesis society), a members-led Community Land Trust based in South East London, with the aim of creating sustainable community led neighbourhoods and truly affordable homes right across London. I’m also in the process of self - building my own ground floor house extension!
As such I have a deep interest in sustainable, community led ways of thinking about design and the ways in which we live, as well as making design and DIY feel accessible, and I bring this to the work that we do through At home Studio.
Meet Rebecca
Born in Italy and living in Brockley, I began my creative journey in the fashion industry working alongside renown designers such as Erdem and Roland Mouret.
After having my two children, I decided to take my creativity in a new direction and transition into interior design. It quickly became clear that this was where my true passion lay - creating beautiful, considered spaces that are both personal and purposeful. As our family grew, I came to appreciate the importance of creating spaces that are both enjoyable and adaptable to the different stages of life. This is something I strive to embed in every project I undertake.
I like to collaborate closely with each of my clients to create spaces that not only transform the way they live every day, but also reflect their individuality, personal journey and way of life.

at home_studio was born in South East London - a place very special to us both. Its where we’ve built our lives, raised our children, formed lasting friendships, and become part of a wonderful, close knit community. Quite possibly the best place in London, if not the world.
It felt completely natural to join forces and begin a new creative journey together, right here in the place we call home.
We offer a range of spacial and interior design services to our local community and beyond, creating thoughtful, considered spaces that feel personal, purposeful, and most importantly, home.
No project is to big or too small, whether its a property you’ve lived in for a while that needs a refresh, a new home that needs renovating or an extension project thats giving you a headache - we would love to help to create the perfect space for you.
